Chris O’Sullivan is a self-taught musician, singer, Musical Director, composer and arranger, with his first solo album “Years in the Making” debuting in December 2019 and his most recent album “Chasing Dreams” released in March 2021. He has been involved in several musical projects in various genres from a young age. Chris plays a wide range of musical instruments including piano, guitar, bass, harmonica, bouzouki and whistles.


His musicianship encompasses solo performance, duets, collaborations with many bands on the Dublin and Irish scene, studio recording as a session pianist, work with various stage schools nationwide and the musical direction of such choirs as The Cabinteely Gospel Group (2008-2015 & 2020-present), Muckross Alumni Choir (2018-present) and Songs in the Key of D (2013-present) -  having performed in venues which include Vicar Street, The Mansion House, The National Concert Hall, Liberty Hall Theatre, Trafalgar Square and the Olympia Theatre.


Since 2015, Chris has worked as Assistant Musical Director (under the musical supervision of David Hayes) of The Olympia Panto, Dublin. He is the Musical Director for Slapdash Theatre, Carlow, recently composing the full score for their original musical “Treasure Island”, which premiered in May 2019 and “A Christmas Tale” which was performed in December 2019; both in the GB Shaw Theatre, in Carlow. He has musically directed shows for Grange Woodbine Variety Group (Dublin) for the past three years and along with The Dungarvan Junior Musical Stage School, he works as an MD for The David Hennessy Stage School (2015-present). He has completed a tour in Disney's Raglan Road, Orlando, Florida (2016) and has also embarked on a nationwide tour as Musical Director of The Three Tenors of Ireland (Autumn/Winter 2016).


Chris currently works as a music teacher in Willow Park Senior School and gives tuition in various instruments, vocals and ensemble work in Blackrock College.


As half of KC Fusion, Chris works alongside fellow MD Killian Grumley Traynor, as they musically direct various shows, choirs and vocal groups, including the Blackrock College Adult Choir.
